ECPI University students at work. Electronics Engineering Technology students Richard Hurak and Patrick Carr (left and right) with Criminal Justice student Jeremiah Barner.
Richmond/Moorefield Campus – Electronics Engineering Technology and Criminal Justice students work together to assess security systems for a simulated casino, including vaults and safes, motion/door/panic button sensors, biometric fingerprint gun safes, and CCTV/DVR systems for security monitoring. By integrating coursework across both disciplines, students get to work together and see things from each other’s point of view.
Newport News Campus – Paramedic (EMT) students participate in an exercise inside the campus’ new ambulance simulator which is precisely furnished with the same equipment typically found in a working unit.
