The Military and Intelligence Database (Gale) and War and Terrorism Collection (Gale) are now available from the Online Library’s fall lineup of article databases used by students and faculty for their research and professional development. Databases provide articles from journals, magazines, and new sources. Additional content is becoming more prevalent in databases including audio, books, images, reports and videos. The Library’s LibGuides (online research guides) for the Criminal Justice and Technology programs also provide links to these databases. Usage reports and Google Analytics data reveal the growth in database usage now with easy-to-access links from the University’s LMS Moodle and Canvas.
Gale, part of Cengage Learning, is the world’s leading vendor of journals and reference sources. Students rely upon their collections for reliable sources and easy-to-use search tools. Nineteen other Gale specialized collections were also added this Fall to the Online Library collections, including Pop Culture Collection, Testing and Education Reference Center, Vocations and Careers Collection, and Global Issues in Context.
