EC-Council, an organization dedicated to building and refining the cybersecurity profession, has announced the winners of its 2020 Global Awards with ECPI University receiving the Academia Circle of Excellence Award.
The EC-Council Global Awards recognize excellence in cybersecurity training, education, instruction, and leadership. These awards honor partners and individuals that have made contributions to cybersecurity education and training environments that create lasting impacts on their networks and local communities.
The 2020 winners were selected from an extensive EC-Council training and education network that extends across 145 countries, and more than 2,830 training centers, 1,200 Certified EC-Council Instructors, and 2,500 education partners and academic faculty. EC-Council’s Awards Committee reviews each nominee’s impact, assessing their instruction, student experiences, leadership, engagements to create platforms for cybersecurity training and education, and more.
Congratulating the winners, President of EC-Council, Jay Bavisi, said, “Our annual EC-Council Awards highlight our global partners’ and trainers’ commitment and achievements that have widely influenced the information security community. We are pleased to honor so many accomplished training providers, academic institutions, and instructors who are dedicated to the betterment of world-class cybersecurity education globally.
