ECPI University President Celebrates Student Accomplishment

Mark Dreyfus, President of ECPI University

“WISDOM IS NOT A PRODUCT OF SCHOOLING BUT OF THE LIFELONG ATTEMPT TO ACQUIRE IT.”

– Albert Einstein

Earning a degree is no longer a means to an end, but rather, a beginning. College should be a time of preparation where eager minds can acquire the knowledge and skills needed for a particular profession. Yet, it is also a time to orient the mind.

During this graduation season, we celebrate student accomplishment. Our graduates are proud of what they’ve achieved but they are also keenly aware that there is still much to learn. It’s particularly gratifying when graduates talk about their plans for the future. So often, they talk about earning additional certifications, acquiring new skills or obtaining higher level degrees.

In this edition of eConnect, you will meet some exceptional people, graduates who’ve overcome difficult circumstances; juggled family, work and school, and silenced doubts in their minds that it might be too late to earn a degree. One thing they all have in common is a commitment to lifelong learning. That’s what sets an ECPI University graduate apart. On behalf of all faculty and staff, I wish them all the greatest success.

Sincerely,

Mark Dreyfus
