“Skills make dreams happen. They build economies. They make people rich and famous. In today’s world, the demands for skills are staggering. Government, business and individuals have too much to achieve, their goals are huge. They are constantly, and I do mean constantly, looking for people with the right skills. People that can get the job done.”
― Emi Iyalla
These words are emblematic of the opportunity that drives so many ECPI University graduates as they have sought to further their education and acquire skills. In this edition of eConnect, you will meet some of these exceptional people.
I have long viewed ECPI University as a place for second chances. Many of our graduates have tried college before. Others were derailed by difficult circumstances, yet a desire to achieve and obtain valuable skills continued to move them forward. Upon entering our University, they soon discovered they were among people who were committed to helping them succeed, staff and faculty members who shared their dreams.
Each of these people has demonstrated great resilience. They have motivated others and led by example. We are proud to call them our graduates and hope their stories will inspire you.
