Message from the President

Military Times Honor Celebrates Hard Work of ECPI University

“You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it.”
― Maya Angelou

We now find ourselves in an unsettling world but how we react will determine who we will become. The current pandemic as well as the efforts to end racism have tested our character. It has also allowed us the opportunity to look inward and think about the future. Here at ECPI University, we are doing just that.

In recent months, our faculty and staff have worked tirelessly, adjusting to the current limitations imposed on our traditional educational delivery models. To continue offering the best of both online and hands-on learning, ECPI University has adopted a hybrid model with established rigorous safety protocols. These measures allow students to continue their skill- based learning on campus to complete skills labs but also by enhancing our remote learning experience. We have invested in improving our expertise in learning technologies.

As proud as I am of our faculty and staff in their ability to change quickly, what I have seen from our students is especially inspiring. They are rising to the occasion, exhibiting the kind of fortitude and dedication that will serve them well throughout their careers. Although students are dealing with many issues at home, the lessons learned in adapting to this new environment will help through future challenges. When the current pandemic will end remains uncertain. Until then, you can be assured that we will continue to serve our students each day seeking to optimize the remote learning experience and helping our students stay on track for graduation and ultimately helping them in their careers.

Sincerely,

Mark Dreyfus
