ECPI University Celebrates 50 Years of Helping Students

Mark Dreyfus, President of ECPI University

1966-2016     50th Anniversary

2016 is a landmark year for ECPI University as we celebrate 50 years of helping students achieve their career goals. Since our founding in 1966, we have remained student-centered while offering skills-based programs in an accelerated format. To maintain our mission, it requires dedicated faculty and staff whose primary goal is student success. Whether tutoring, helping in labs, or finding financial assistance, it takes caring individuals to find a solution.

Our industry-experienced faculty respond quickly to employer suggestions to keep the curriculum relevant and up to date. Over the years, ECPI has been a leader in implementing technology in the classroom. Innovation through the use of learning technologies allows the University to keep our programs transformative for our students. We currently are implementing more ways to be interactive with students with an emphasis on mobile learning. ECPI’s expanding use of Live Chat is transforming what it means to have access to faculty by allowing students to ask questions when they are studying at almost any time, and from anywhere.

I would also like to encourage students to take advantage of every opportunity that is offered and available here at ECPI University. In this edition of eConnect, you will read about a number of successful graduates. While they come from various walks of life and have pursued vastly different career paths, most share one thing in common: They finished their degree and got the highest value out of their ECPI University education.

While there have been many changes since 1966, the one constant is developing graduates with the skills and degrees that employers want. ECPI University has built its reputation on accelerated skills-based programs, student services, and one-on-one attention. As a student- centered college, our focus is on your success.

Sincerely,

Mark Dreyfus
